Theresa G. Thornhill is a Digital and Mixed Media Artist. Her company, Digital Accents, LLC has produced ceramic tile murals for over ten years and has recently expanded to include fine art pieces printed on archival quality paper and canvas. Using the latest technology and software her creations are unique adaptations of the traditional. Her inspiration comes from photographs of rust, metal, wood, brick and other natural textures. Much of her “non-art time” is spent working in and advocating for local arts organizations.

Logos • Postcards • Business Cards • Program Covers Family Collages • Brochures • Banners The plaque above is Installed in the Holocaust Museum Houston, the Detroit Holocaust Memorial Center and in the Clandestine Immigration and Naval Museum in Hafia, Israel.
It represents the heroic efforts of the Americans who supported the greater contribution of The Haganah and Palmach in returning Holocaust survivors from ports in Europe to The Land of Israel during 1945-48. It has been my honor to work on this project with my dear friend and mentor, Dr. David Gottlieb, who sailed on the Josiah Wedgwood-one of the 11 American ships involved. |
